In the week that Eric Morecambe would have turned 100, Royal Mail have released a Collector Sheet in the Celebrating Britain series featuring Morecambe and Wise. We have produced a pair of covers bearing all 10 stamps/labels from this sheet but no special hand-stamp was available from Royal Mail so we have arranged for these covers to be cancelled with the permanent hand-stamp for Leeds, dated 14th May 2026, the birthplace of Ernie Wise.

We hope you like these covers but we must be open and point out an unintentional error that has crept into the preparation of these covers. Somehow "Morecambe" became "Morecombe" for which we can only apologise. We hope this does not distract too much from your enjoyment of these unique covers.
