Personally Signed by Air Vice Marshal D.B.Craig & Rear Admiral Sir Mattew Slattery Marshal of the Royal Air Force David Brownrigg Craig{COMMA} Baron Craig of Radley{COMMA} GCB{COMMA} OBE (born 17 September 1929) is a retired Royal Air Force officer After receiving his commission in 1951{COMMA} the Lord Craig went on to fly Meteors and Hunters.1962 returned to flying duties on Valcans In 1965{COMMA} Craig was appointed Military Assistant to the then Chief of the Defence Staff{COMMA} Field Marshal Sir Richard Hull. During this time{COMMA} Craig witnessed many of the policy changes that came about whilst Denis Healey was Secretary of State for Defence. Notably{COMMA} he has commanded No. 35 Squadron{COMMA} been Station Commander at RAF Cranwell Air Officer Commanding No. 1 Group and Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Strike Command. Lord Craig was Chief of the Air Staff from 1985 to 1988{COMMA} and subsequently Chief of Defence Staff from 9 December 1988 to 1 April 1991. and member of the House of Lords. He served as the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the United Kingdom and thus the professional head of the British Armed Rear Admiral Sir Matthew Slattery Joined the Navy in 1916. At the outbreak of the Second World War he was the Director Air Material at the Admiralty. He Commanded the Cruiser Clepatra in 1941/42. Vice Controller (Air) and Chief of Naval Air Equipment Forces Chairman BOAC 1960 and of BOAC Cunard in 1962.Details enclosed Certified Copy No of 1000.
