Brazil to South Africa Damaged by Seawater and sealed with Official labels
Sao Paulo letter posted in Brazil registered as per Registrada cachet also Via Aeria/by Airmail. In all probability North Atlantic Route as per the rear postmark Lisdon Central 11 March 1843 being the transit mark onto South Africa. Arriving at Cape Town by ship with manuscript Damaged by Seawater and sealed by twin P438 labels G.P. -S 4286-1939-12.500. the final figure denoting the quantity printed and as per instructions signed by a Post Office Official and stamped 7.5.1943.

U/M (un-mounted mint) is Mint Never Hinged or Never Hinged Mint.
M/M (mounted mint) is Hinged Mint.
