Bahamas Incoming mail 1876 and 1891 envelopes with US Stamps Ex Ludington
Bahamas Incoming mail. 1876 (c.) envelope from Wilmington Delaware to Nassau with 1876 3ct despatch CDS alongside. Via Savannah to which it was carried by City of Dallas and thence per Leo. 4 in blue crayon indicating the charge on arrival in Nassau for an incoming ship letter. Also a faulty 1891 envelope with four x 2ct claret arrival CDS on reverse carried on Cienfugos. Ex Ludington (lot 1507)

U/M (un-mounted mint) is Mint Never Hinged or Never Hinged Mint.
M/M (mounted mint) is Hinged Mint.
